As a Local Film Fixer I organize film shoots in Stuttgart and the rest of Baden-Württemberg, Germany for national and international clients.
My offered services include the organization of a film crew, film equipment, location scouting, shooting permits, and anything else you would need for a film production in Stuttgart.
Working together with me can save you a lot of work, time and money. Travel and accomodation costs that you would have to pay for an external team are non-existent with regional work force. Extensive research for a local film crew and locations has already been done by me.
For smaller film shoots, like e.g. the filming of an interview I can offer my services as a director/dp and line producer combo to cover all your needs. For bigger productions I put together a film crew that perfectly fits the needs of your individual film production.

Shooting Permits
Navigating through the jungle of laws and permits can be quite confusing.
I can act as your guide and apply for shooting permits if necessary.
Crew
Over the years I have added the best of the local film crew members in the Stuttgart region to my network. For your film production I will put together the perfect film team.
Location Scout / Recce
As a location scout, I can recommend fitting locations in the Stuttgart region for your project, or clarify the current status of a location before production start.
Shoot / Video Live Feed
Properly prepared, my film team and I start the actual shooting. The shooting can take place either together with a director or representative from your company, or with me as a director/DP combo.
If desired, I can also deliver a live stream of the camera feed via Zoom for remote directing.
Equipment
As a cameraman with equipment (e.g. an Arri Alexa Mini, camera drones), I can supply most productions with camera, lighting and audio equipment myself. If necessary, I will organize additional equipment from (local) rentals.

Delivery
Delivery of your footage can either happen via cloud transfer or shipping of a hard drive. Meanwhile, the footage is safely backed up in Stuttgart.
Production sizes
1 / Small
This production size may for example be an interview for a documentary or some B-Roll footage shot at your clients office or production site.
The crew could be a size of 1-3 persons with me as director/dp, a sound technician / camera assistant and a hair and make-up artist.
The gear could be a basic production set consisting of a camera kit, some lighting and sound equipment.
2 / Medium
This production size could be a whole corporate video or something similar shot by a crew of 3-6 persons.
The crew could also include a gaffer, dolly grip, a photographer and a dedicated director.
The Equipment package may also include external monitoring for the client and director, major lighting, grip and sound equipment.
3 / Large
The sky is the limit! No matter the size or complexity of the film production - I have various partners, that I have worked together with successfully over many years to accomodate all sizes and types of productions.

Do I need a shooting permit for a film production in Stuttgart?

Yes. I can organize a real time interpreter, that translates German to English or any other language simultaneously.
Can you deliver a live feed of the camera picture via Internet?
Yes. It is possible to deliver a live feed of the camera via zoom. This way, people who are not on set and need to see what is filmed, like a director or client outside of Germany, can monitor the shoot in real time.
